East Bourbon Tour

On this tour you will travel through beautiful horse country, see historic buildings, and visit three distilleries nestled next to some of Kentucky’s many fresh waterways. During your visit the distillers will tell you it’s the abundance of limestone water that makes Kentucky bourbon the best in the world. This tour includes tours, tastings, and lunch along the way.

West Bourbon Tour

During this tour you will visit three distilleries located near the Bourbon Capital of the World, Bardstown, Kentucky. This area features Kentucky’s rich history, beautiful farmland, picturesque grounds, and one of the world‘s largest distilleries. You will find antiques, crafts, and more in this area. The West Bourbon Tour also includes tours, tastings, and lunch along the way.

Jim Beam Distillery, Heaven Hill Distilleries, Maker’s Mark Distillery

Still to Barrel Tour

We will be visiting two sites that are on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail – Craft Tour,  Limestone Branch located in Lebanon makes their moonshine the old fashion way. This stop is also featured on the TV program Moonshiners shown on the Discovery Channel. We will take you to Independent Stave Company to see how barrels are made from the smallest operation to the largest like Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Wild Turkey etc.. Here you will see coopers preforming their magic from start to finish. “Sorry but cameras are not allowed here.” Then you will be treated to a nice lunch to relax and dicuss what you have seen so far. Last stop will be at Wilderness Trace Distillery, it  is the first legal distillery in historic Danville, Kentucky.  This tour has a unique presentation highlighting more of the analytical side of the making and aging of their products.
